The aluminum content of 1050 aluminum plate is more than 99.5%, which is one of the industrial pure aluminum. 1050 aluminum plate has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, but low strength.
1050 aluminum plate is commonly used in products that require high corrosion resistance and formability, but do not require high strength. Such as daily necessities, chemical industry containers, signs, electrical appliances, stamping parts and so on.
1100 aluminum plate is industrial pure aluminum with low density and good plasticity. It is usually used for parts that require good forming performance, high corrosion resistance and do not require high strength.
1100 is generally used in heat sinks, bottle caps, printed boards, cookware, building materials, heat exchanger components, nameplates, deep-drawn products, etc.
1 series aluminum plate
Features: Industrial pure aluminum plate, with good elongation and tensile strength, good formability,, corrosion resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity, relatively simple production process, mature production technology, and a huge price advantage over other high-grade aluminum alloys . The disadvantage is that the strength is low, it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, the machinability is not good, it is not easy to braze, and it is easy to be deformed by compression.
Application: Mainly used in products that do not require high strength, such as automotive heat insulation panels, billboards, building exterior decoration, wall decoration, electrical lighting, heat exchangers, kitchen utensils, electrical conductor materials, chemical equipment, electronic devices, inland ships Equipment, various containers (wine cans, pressure tanks, tea stoves, etc.), instruments and meters, signs (equipment signs, road signs, motor vehicle license plates, etc.), hardware cooking utensils, machine parts with little force.

2 series aluminum plate
Features: Also known as duralumin, the main alloying element is copper. It has high strength and good machinability, has certain heat resistance, and can be heat treated. The disadvantage is that it has poor corrosion resistance.
Application: Mainly used in aircraft structures (such as skins, etc.), aerospace, weapons, engines, pistons, automobile bodies, ship hulls and stressed components.
Common grades: 2017, 2024, 2A12
3 series aluminum plate
Features: Also known as anti-rust aluminum plate, the main alloying element is manganese. The strength is higher than that of industrial pure aluminum plate, and the formability, weldability and corrosion resistance are good. Since it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, cold working is often used in the process to improve its mechanical properties.
Application: It is mainly used in the application field of industrial pure aluminum plate and other fields with higher hardness requirements. It is often used in kitchen utensils, food and chemical storage and transportation, heat sinks, home appliances (such as air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, etc.) and other fields.
Common grades: 3003, 3004, 3014
4 series aluminum plate
Features: Most of the aluminum alloys with silicon as the main alloying element cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. Usually the silicon content is between 4.5-6.0%. Low melting point, good melt fluidity, easy feeding, good corrosion resistance; good wear resistance and heat resistance.
Application: Mainly used in welding materials, etc.

5 series aluminum plate
Features: It is a high-grade aluminum alloy plate, and the main alloying element is Mg. It has good formability, corrosion resistance, weldability, fatigue strength and moderate static strength. It cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, but the surface can be polished, which is relatively beautiful. Resistant to marine climates.
Application: It is mostly used in architectural decoration, pressure vessel, ship structure and offshore facilities, aircraft fuel tank, automobile fuel tank, automobile air storage tank, container, etc.

6 series aluminum plate
Features: The main alloying elements are magnesium and silicon, with medium strength, good corrosion resistance, good weldability and oxidation effect.
Application: Mainly used in construction, ships, rail vehicles, electronics, electrical appliances, durable consumer goods and other fields.
Common grades: 6061, 6063, 6082
7 series aluminum plate. Common grades: 7075, 7050
Features: Super hard aluminum alloy series, the main alloying elements are zinc, magnesium and copper. The representative grades 7050 and 7075, the heat treatment effect is particularly good, the deformed aluminum alloy plate with ultra-high strength has good plasticity after solid solution treatment, and has good mechanical properties, wear resistance and fatigue resistance. The disadvantage is that the welding performance is poor, and there is a tendency for stress corrosion cracking, which requires aluminum cladding or other protection treatments.
Application: It is mainly used as the preferred material for aerospace equipment, and is also widely used in various machinery, mold and other processing and production fields.
8 series aluminum plate
Features: It belongs to aluminum-lithium alloy, the main component is lithium, because lithium is the lightest metal in nature, after adding lithium element to the aluminum plate, it can effectively reduce the specific gravity of the aluminum plate while ensuring the strength of the aluminum plate.
Application: It is mainly used to make bottle caps, and it is also used in radiators. Most of the applications are aluminum foil.
