High weathering steel

High weather resistance structural steel is to add a small amount of copper, phosphorus, chromium, nickel elements in the steel, so that it forms a protective layer on the collective surface of the metal, in order to improve the atmospheric corrosion resistance of the steel, you can also add a small amount of molybdenum, niobium, vanadium, titanium, zirconium and other elements to refine the grain, improve the mechanical properties of steel, improve the strength and toughness of steel, reduce the brittle transition temperature. Weathering steel for second welded structure

The elements added to the steel, in addition to phosphorus, are basically the same as high weather resistance structural steel, and its role is the same as it, and improve the welding performance.

The use of high weather resistance structural steel due to its atmospheric corrosion resistance than welded structural weathering steel is better, mainly used for vehicles, containers, buildings, towers and other structures with bolting, riveting and welding of structural parts. When welding structural parts, the thickness of the steel should not be greater than 16mm.
